"If Only..."

So, on my day off, I had a huge urge to shop! Unfortunately, my bank account does not agree with me so I began to "if only..." shop. Immediately I went to NeimanMarcus.com for all my fantasy items. I noticed that i was picking the same or very similar items. This, although already known, helped me identify my personal style. I have classic, simple, timelessly stylish taste. Designers such as Lela Rose, Carolina Herrera, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Donna Karen, Gucci, and Michael Kors (to name a few) get me. These designers know what i want an never fail to impress and leave me salivating. Sheath dresses, voluminous skirts, wrap dresses, structured blazers, nothing to over the top (tells you something about my personality, right?). Enjoy the jewels i found, try not to drool on the keyboard!

Go Back In Time

Ok, so, after seeing the many previews for the upcoming comedy "Hot Tub Time Machine" (which has me cracking up) I began to consider if I could go back in time and change something, would I and what?

I must admit, I wouldn't. Things may not be where I want them to be in my life but they are where they should be. I am one of those "everything happens for a reason" believers. Although I would love to be further in my career, things are happening as they should.

So I ask you, if you could go back in time and change something about you life would you and what?

Designer Spotlight: Valentino

So for this installment of Designer Spotlight, I have chosen famed couture artist Valentino. I love seeing his fashion shows and the brilliant pop of red that brighten up any closet. My dream one day is own one of the brilliantly fitted gowns that compliment every curve that a woman's body has. His genius transcends time and never disappoints! I am so tired of seeing naturally gorgeous women ruining their beauty with overly obvious lace fronts. Not everyone needs a wig and if you are going to wear one, please employ a stylist that has mastered the art of disguise.

Whatever Happened to Talking?

I had the pleasure of going to the movies this past weekend, which does not happen very often. I am one of those people that like to get there 30 minutes early. That way i can get the perfect seat and i am sure not to miss my favorite part, the previews! Any who, will sitting there i glanced around the theater and noticed the luminescent lights from a number of different cell phones. People sitting right next to each other not speaking but texting, surfing the net, of listening to music on their phones. I remember when that time before the movie started was used to converse with the person/people your with. This makes me wonder, now that so much is available to us, what would we do without it?
