Concerts: R. Kelly
My sister recently saw R. Kelly in concert. To be honest I have not been a fan of Mr. Kelly's music post Chocolate Factory (that is one of my favorite cd's). I was happy to hear that the majority of the music performed at his concert were older classic tracks. So, if you get the chance, catch the show. It's worth it!
Fall Fashion
Fall is here!! It's a beautiful time of year!! The air is crisp, the colors of orange, brown, and deep reds surround you and best of all fall fashion!!! I love the sweater, boots, dresses, tights, etc. exciting!! Heres a few fall favorites of mine:

The Hair I Want: Teyana Taylor
So for any one that knows me well, knows that i obese over my hair. I have naturally kinky curly hair and I soooo want more curly than kinky. So waking up this morning i proceeded to my normal sites and came across this picture of Teyana Taylor from theybf.com. It is full, thick and perfectly curly! My dream hair!!!

The Life I Want is a blog I created to display and share all the little things that make me smile. Sound corny, yeah I know, but you have to understand. I live a very boring life. Truly. I'm one of those behind the scene type of people. You know, the not seen and barely heard. To be honest I kinda like it that way. But I believe that everyone needs an outlet to speak loudly and be heard. So here goes. Be gentle!
I love the simple plearsures of life. For example, waking up Saturday morning to watch cooking shows makes my week. I literally woke up this morning planning what to make for breakfast (homemade biscuts, eggs, bacon, and vanilla almond coffee) so I can sit in front of the tv for the next 3 hours and watch Everyday Foods, America's Test Kitchen, Primal Grilling, etc. I love it! One thing to be known is that I am a total foodie! I have 2 degrees in Culinary Arts and completing my B.S. in Nutrition (6 months and counting!). Food is my obession, well one of many, so expect to see numerous post with recipes.
I love fashion and the art of being stylish. Home decor, party planning and design, d.i.y projects, travel, and people are among the list of loves. So sit back and enjoy!
